Black Head

I was just playing around with ZBrush, and when I was about to be sick of my crappy blobby stuff, this head suddenly popped up.

It was then a good opportunity to test some textures, shaders and polypainting.

Hope you like it… (Promised! Next time there will be a neck and a bit of chest, incredible eh?!)

My first ZHead

Just my first head in ZBrush. Took me something like 3 hours to achieve.

Another untitled speed

It took three hours to achieve this one. I think it’s still a bit slow for a speed.

Unlike the previous one, I tried not to go too crazy with custom brushes. I sticked mostly to my beloved photoshop chalk brush, just playing around with presets. But it began to be a bit hard to suggest the forest so I tried some custom ones with branches shape.

Here’s the thing also available for free with many others in my gallery :

Back on track

These last couple of months I lost my way to speedpainting. I hope I will keep a good pace.

Anyway, on this one I wanted to try some cool brushes, but I always go back to my custom chalk brush which gives a kind of pastel look. At the end it looks a bit crappy.

Here is the thing :

EXTERMINATE! EXTEEEEEERMINATE!

Yeah well… Only those who know can truly understand the meaning of this title.

Ok here a few clues

Second One

Well let’s begin with something random… Hmmm…

Oh yes! About a month and half ago, I had to colorize an animation. It was just an exercise, but my pencil test animation was so crappy that I decided to completely redo it in 3D…

I was crazy.

I really spent way too much time on it, but it was fun. One of my goal was that my teacher shouldn’t see this little trick. And I’m proud to say that it works really fine. But, I didn’t anticipate that he would congratulate me for the quality of my drawings… I was morally forced to tell him the truth. “Don’t tell me that, it’s just 3D stuff!”

Well after that I dropped animation for the multimedia section of my school (in which we still practice animation).

I let you judge the thing (if you only see a white rectangle, that probably means you flash plugin is outdated) :

First Post

This is done, let’s quicly move to the second post, far more interesting I hope.
